In December 2015, the Dabaoen Temple Heritage Park opened, and the brilliant new pagoda reappeared on the banks of the Qinhuai River outside Zhonghua Gate, becoming a new landmark in southern Nanjing. The ancient Dabaoen Temple Porcelain Pagoda, built over 600 years ago, once rivaled the Roman Colosseum, the Catacombs of Alexandria, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, ranking among the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World and praised as "China's great antique, the great kiln vessel of the Yongle era." Light and shadow, fragments and wholeness - this contrast between virtual and real continues the architectural design creativity. LED characteristics enable a dynamic process to interpret the transformation between virtual and real, with the pagoda's light and shadow manifestation closely related to breathing, atmosphere, and the four seasons. | |||||||||
